Employment

Are you looking to become part of the Voyager Family?

Worried you don't have enough experience — Don't be!

If you are a good, decent, moral person, I can make you a great inspector.

In the email, tell me about you

  • What is important to you.
  • What are your 1 year, 5 year, and 10 year goals — personally & professionally.

Want to run a marathon, have a baby, learn to tango, etc. Want to run your own company, teach at a school, make six figures, etc.

  • What non–home-inspecting strengths, talents, and expertise do you have?

Are you good with computers, camera, numbers, art, etc. If you can solve a Rubik's cube in 3 minutes, or walk a mile on your hands — if you are proud, flaunt it.

A few reminders

  • This is your first interview — you get to answer any questions you think are relevant.
  • You get to take your time answering them.
  • You get to say what you want to say and how you want to say it.
  • Take your time.
  • Proofread before sending.
  • Don't think about what I want to hear — think about what you want to say about you.
  • Let your personality out. We are not looking to hire a robot, or a line worker, or a yes man (or woman).
